AutoElevate INSTALL 2024.xml - this script downloads the MSI and sets the company name, location, and license key as variables Before running the script, save your AE license key in the company/info tab in Automate. This script initiates a silent installation of the Agent in Audit mode.

Uninstall
If an uninstall of the agent is necessary we recommend uninstalling by deleting the computer from the AutoElevate Admin Portal (https://msp.autoelevate.com ). This will remove the computer from the Admin Portal and will also initiate an uninstall of the AE Agent. To delete the computer, go to the Computers screen in the AE Admin Portal and then select the computer(s) click the Actions menu, and Delete.
If an installation of an agent has taken place but has not shown up in the Admin Portal, make sure you are looking at current data by clicking the refresh data button at the top right corner of the computer screen. If you have confirmed that AutoElevate is installed on the target machine you can use the AutoElevate Uninstall-v12.xml script to initiate uninstall from Automate.

Best Practice: Uninstall via Portal and not Scripted.
Since AutoElevate agents are updated continually, We DO NOT RECOMMEND UNINSTALLATION VIA SCRIPT IF THE AGENT IS BEING REPORTED IN THE AutoElevate ADMIN PORTAL. To initiate an uninstall AutoElevate recommends using the AutoElevate admin portal as described above.
Additional Notes
The attached scripts were generated on version 12 of ConnectWise Automate but have been confirmed to work in version v11 as well.
ConnectWise Version 11 Known Issue
An issue was reported when importing the scripts into v11. The import fails part way through due to the system not having the cache updated or refreshed. If this occurs, delete the script from your system, reload the cache and navigation tree in the Labtech Control Center, and re-import the script. It should succeed once the cache has been reloaded, and it then can see that the EDTs (extra data fields) are there. If there are any additional issues, please open a ticket by clicking the Contact Us link in the upper right of this page.
