Exporting your passwords from Firefox Importing your passwords into Password Boss

Password Boss WebApp can import your passwords from Firefox. You will first need to export the passwords from the browser and then import them into Password Boss.

Are you using the Password Boss Desktop application? You can skip the exporting part.
 

Exporting your passwords from Firefox


  1. Open Firefox, click the menu icon near the address bar, and select Settings.
     
  2. Click Privacy & Security, then scroll to the Passwords section and click on the Saved passwords to open the password manager.
     
  3. Click the menu in the upper right corner on the passwords page, then click Export Passwords.


     
  4. When prompted, click on Continue with export.
     
  5. Save the file to your desktop.

 

Now that you have the CSV Export file, follow the instructions below to import it into Password Boss WebApp

 

Importing your passwords into Password Boss

 

  1. Open Password Boss and from the File menu, click Import Passwords->From Browser. then on the "Import to Password Boss" select Mozillz Firefox and click the Next button to see a list of all passwords saved in the browser.


     
  2. For business users, select the profile to which you want to import the passwords. by default all passwords available will be selected. Uncheck any you do not want to import then click Import.


      
  3. Be sure to delete your exported file after you have finished importing your passwords.
