Purchases through Apple or Google
You will not receive a license key if you purchase your subscription through either the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store, or directly from Password Boss. Your subscription will automatically be updated at the time you make your purchase.
Activating your license key before you have created your account
If you purchase Password Boss from one of our authorized vendors, you will receive a license key with your purchase. You can activate your license before creating your account. This can be done from any device.
- Open https://www.passwordboss.com/activate/ in your browser.
- Enter your email address and license key. This is the email address you will need to use when you create your Password Boss account.
- Click Activate.
- When your license is activated, you will be taken to a page where you can download the Password Boss app.

Install the app on your device and choose to Create a new account.

Enter the email address with which you activated your license key and follow the remaining prompts.
- When your account opens you will see your license applied to your account.
