When you agree to act as an emergency contact for another Password Boss user, you will be able to request access to their Password Boss account in case of an emergency.

The entire process is handled within the Password Boss application, so the emergency contact must maintain access to their own Password Boss account.

When the emergency access invitation is created the account owner will determine which items are included in the invitation as well as if there should be a waiting period from the time access is requested.

Emergency access invitations can be in place without the recipient requesting access for years.  When emergency access is requested, the recipient will receive the most recent version of the items from the account owner.  As the account owner updates passwords or makes other changes, the latest copy will be sent to the emergency contact when they request access.
