User Types and Roles
In the CyberFOX DNS system, there are different types of users with varying levels of access and permissions:
Admin:
- Permissions: Can manage organizational settings, billing information, and subscriptions.
- Capabilities: Create and manage users within their assigned organization, update policies, and handle billing-related tasks.
User:
- Permissions: Limited to managing product-specific settings and configurations.
- Capabilities: Can use the DNS filtering product, manage policies, and handle day-to-day operations, but cannot change organizational settings or billing information.
These roles ensure that users have the appropriate level of access to perform their tasks while maintaining security and control within the organization.
Creating Users
Access the Organization:
- To sign in, go to the CyberFOX DNS portal at https://app.cyberfox.com. Here, you can access your account and manage your organization's settings and users.

Add a new User:
- Navigate to the user management section, click on Add User +,

Configure the new User:
- Complete the form with the user's details, including their name, email address, and role (admin or user).
- Ensure the user is marked as active. This step is crucial for security and access control.
- Assign the user to the relevant organization. Users can only see and manage organizations that are below them in the hierarchy.
