How to Add a New Company Under Your Organization

Before Starting

Before configuring a new Company, you should have already created a policy and block page (if a custom policy and block page is required).

Create the Company:

  1. Log in to the DNS Portal, navigate to the Companies Section, then click on the ‘Create Button’ to create a new company.

  2. Now enter the required details, such as the ‘Company name’ (1), number of ‘Licenses’ (2) to assign, and the ‘Notification email’ (3) that will receive notifications, such as unblock requests. Once those are set, click ‘Save’ (4) to continue.

Add a static location

For a static location, such as an office with a static IP address assigned to it, you can add a location that filters all traffic from the single location under a single policy.

  1. From the Companies screen, under the Actions icons, click on ‘View Locations’. Once you have opened the Locations, click on ‘Create +’

  2. Now fill in the information to create the location
  1. Add a Location Name (required)

  2. Leave Lockdown Mode (optional) Inactive. Use this when you need to block DNS resolution at this location.

  3. Add a unique description if needed (optional)

  4. Add a physical address (optional)

  5. Provide the Public IP Address (required)

  6. Enable IPv6 support (optional) - This will require the IPv6 CIDR Public IP Address if used.

  7. Select the Policy you want to apply to this location (required).

  8. Select the block page you wish to use for this location (required)

  9. Check the box Allow AI Anomaly Detection (optional)

  10. Click Save

Test your location settings and policy. From the location you just configured, set up a single client at that location to use our DNS servers and test the configuration by accessing the block page for the policies.

Once you have verified that the location's policies and block pages are functioning as expected, follow the instructions to configure your location to use our DNS services.
